A plain contact submission carries only the name, email and message you enter, plus the request IP and user-agent. Those land in the ingestion desk inbox and, if actionable, in the editorial queue with the same fields on the receipt. Nothing is shared outside the desk. Anonymous contact notes are kept for as long as the underlying correction stays active in the queue. Once closed, the entry is retained for six months so a reporter can re-open it, then deleted from the queue file at the next monthly compaction.

A venue ownership claim (a request to be treated as the verified operator of a specific listing) carries additional personal data: the claimant’s name, email, employer or trading entity, role at the venue, and the evidence supplied to prove control — for example a DNS TXT record, an operator-branded email address, a Companies-House number or a document uploaded during review. This data is stored in the reviewed claim registry alongside the reviewer, the decision and the approval or revocation history. Every owner-originated correction filed against an approved claim references the claim id on the queue item so the audit trail is reconstructible.

Claim data is retained for as long as the claim is active plus twelve months after revocation or rejection, so a later dispute can be answered from the record. To withdraw a submitted claim or ask for the record to be deleted early, email antoni.wuczynski@gmail.com from the address on file. Withdrawal does not remove corrections that were already applied to public data. Only the identity of the claimant is redacted from the queue payload.
