Simmons Angel is a small cocktail bar with big Simmons energy — decade-defying decor, a wildly varied playlist, and a happy hour Sunday to Friday from 4pm to 9pm. Two-for-one cocktails, £4 pints, £3 wine and £2.50 spirit and mixers make it a favourite for after-work drinks on Essex Road. Every Saturday runs the same hours.
